Coppin State's resume is dominated by a brutal nonconference stretch of neutral and true road blowouts to power-conference foes like Maryland, South Florida, VCU and West Virginia that have washed away much of the upside from the season. The lone road victory at Rider is a useful marker but it sits next to too many lopsided defeats away from home, so upcoming trips to Liberty, Georgetown and Navy are the kind of make-or-break chances that could meaningfully alter perception only if they produce surprise outcomes.
