George Mason’s resume is anchored by a string of comfortable wins and a couple of neutral-site victories over Ohio and Florida Atlantic that show the team can close against solid opponents, but it still lacks a true signature road triumph that would eliminate doubt. The best moments are those neutral wins and the way the roster has handled mid-major opponents at home; the clearest weakness is that many of the marquee results come against lesser competition and won’t impress a committee without complementary road or neutral success.
